What is Resveratrol?

• Resveratrol is a natural substance extracted from plants. It is known to be present in elevated concentrations in, for example, grapes, especially in their skins. It is resveratrol that is the basis for the rumour that drinking red wine helps longevity.
• It acts as an antioxidant and has a number of positive effects on the metabolism of the human body. It affects blood sugar and cholesterol levels in a natural way.
